Week of July 9th – ASM “Year 1” Teacher Camp at LIFT – Lightweight Innovations For Tomorrow, Detroit, MI.
The next FIB activity by DWAFS as is part of the ASM Year 1 Teacher Camp that will be held during the week of July 9th at the LIFT facility near downtown Detroit. LIFT (Lightweighting for Tomorrow) has have been a big supporter of ASM’s Teachers Camps the last couple years and opened a learning lab focused on teachers at their facility near Corktown this year.
The exact day has not been set, but we will assist 2 ASM “Master Teachers” – both with a strong industrial technology background and lots of experience doing FIB with their students – leading the Camp. The max number of teachers is 30, and we typically offer FIB as one of 5-6 stations during an open lab period, so we would be dealing with small groups passing through. So we can probably a few volunteers to assist with this event, contact Tom Prucha at email@example.com for details.
